On the Bus-Science Fiction

I pulled my baseball cap down to cover my eyes from the blinding September sun. With my baseball cap over my eyes I could barely see the big yellow bus approaching, however it came to a screeching halt right in front of me. I stood there for a second, nervous as could be, it was my first day of high school. The doors to the bus swung open, and with the bus driver staring at me he impatiently said “ya comin’?” I nodded my head and walked on, looking around for an empty seat the big yellow school bus took off like nothing I had ever seen before. The bus accelerated so fast I lost my balance and fell to the dirty floor. Disgusted by grimy floor I immediately stood up and looked out the window just to notice houses and trees beneath me; the bus was flying. I looked around at the other high schoolers; their facial expressions were blank as if this was their daily routine.

“What’s going on?” I asked a kid next to me “Were flying, how is this happening? Flying is impossible. Where are we going?”
He laughed and responded, “Were going to training”
“Training?”
“Ha-ha you don’t know anything do you?” he laughed
“No I don’t”
“Don’t worry all freshmen are confused the first day”

I sat there confused as we approached a big building sitting on top of a cloud. A big sign on the building read “Super Hero Training Base”. I didn’t know what to think of this, was this Hogwarts? I couldn’t grasp the idea of a school in the sky. The bus stopped and all the kids filed out and I followed them soon to find out what was going on.
